Acceptable Use Policy

Version 2026-09-21 · Part of the Terms of Service

Anfigo is for answering the guests of your own lodging business. This policy lists what the Service may not be used for. It protects your guests, the other properties on Anfigo, and the messaging platforms everyone depends on — a breach can lead to suspension (Terms §12) or termination (Terms §11.3).

1. Messaging

  • Message only people who have given you their number or contacted you, and who have agreed to hear from you, as the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and each platform's rules require.
  • No spam, bulk unsolicited marketing, purchased contact lists, or messages to people who asked you to stop.
  • Give guests a clear way to reach a person: keep your team available for the chats Anfigo hands over.
  • Do not tell the assistant to pretend to be a human.

2. Content and conduct

  • Nothing unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit, and nothing that infringes anyone's intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • No offers or sales that the WhatsApp Commerce Policy or another connected platform prohibits.
  • Your rates, policies and descriptions in Anfigo must be truthful.

3. Data

  • Never ask guests through the chat for full card numbers, card security codes or passwords. Use your payment provider's links.
  • Collect sensitive data (health, religion, political opinions, sexual life, biometrics, criminal records) only when a stay genuinely needs it and your law allows it.
  • Do not use the Service to collect data about children beyond what a stay needs.

4. The Service itself

  • Use Anfigo only for your own properties. No reselling, sublicensing or giving third parties access to Anfigo or to the platforms connected through it.
  • Do not offer Anfigo, or the messaging channels connected to it, as a general-purpose AI chatbot; it is for guest service at your property.
  • No reverse engineering, scraping, or copying the Service; no attempts to break its security, bypass its limits or the platforms' limits, or to overload it. Security research is welcome only with our written permission — write to security@anfigo.com.
  • No use in breach of US sanctions or export laws.

5. Reporting

To report misuse of Anfigo, write to legal@anfigo.com. We look into every report and may suspend the Service while we do, as the Terms allow.
